Hi! Just had our en-suite bathroom ripped out & starting from a blank canvas with everything...well apart from the fixed position of toilet & sink as too big a job to move. Never tackled a bathroom before so looking for some recommendations of where to get decent fitted furniture, for back to wall toilet, storage units etc, but without having to remortgage the house to cover costs. We’d like to put in a wall of units then top with a nice worktop. Any suggestions gratefully received thank you🚽🧻

I am considering re-creating my bathroom and have been looking for ideas, too. I've created a pinterest board here: www.pinterest.co.uk/barholmcastle/bathroom-interior-design/ I don't know where to source any of this and suspect most of the really lovely photos are American, but I just got the Wickes catalogue and found a lot of interesting stuff in there, if that's any help.

Thank you for the idea...I’ll certainly take a look. It’s difficult to know where to start with so many companies offering so many options...we do have to try to be reasonable about our budget too but it’s easy to get carried away! Good luck with yours!

I’ve recently kitted out 3 full bathrooms and a shower room. Really think about what you want then shop around. The same items can be quite a bit cheaper elsewhere (but called something different). And the exact item you want will be available just maybe at another shop. You don’t need to purchase all the goods from one shop. I think I used 3 or 4 bathroom stockists.
Victorian plumbing (there’s a similarly name shop too), Plumbworld, etc etc

I got Wickes to do ours but it wasn't cheap as we used their fitter (as I hadn't got a clue). Still love it 2 years later though. Howdens are meant to be good, my Dad has used them for kitchens.

Wait for the premium bathroom sales if you can. After 35-50% is taken off, you’ll find there’s not much difference between these brands and cheaper ones. I would definitely go for better brands if you can. There’s some worrying stories about online bathroom stores on here.
Look at Pinterest and magazines - Readly app is fantastic for looking at interior magazines instead of paying £££ for them.
Ask if your bathroom supplier can match online prices if the items are on sale - I got that tip on here I think.

Thank you for all the suggestions. We had a bad experience with Wren kitchens a few years ago so we’re a bit apprehensive about choosing bathrooms. Don’t have the energy for battling again!
