Hi, I have decided to get a new duvet as my old one seems to have suddenly become as flat as a pancake. Would any of you be able to recommend one? I don't want to spend stupid money but could probably go to £50/60 for a very good double duvet.

I'm liking my wool duvet from Wool Room. They often do discounts if you sign up for emails.

Bedeck microfibre filled duvet is fab!

ArranBound · 28/10/2020 21:16

Have a look at Musbury Fabrics' website. They supply the hotel/holiday accommodation industry but sell to the public, too. I've got (and love) their washable microfibre pillows and will be changing all the duvets in the house to theirs eventually. The pillows easily plump up back into shape so imagine the duvets will, too.

Thank you. That's given me a few new places to look. At one point last night I was reading an article about duvets from the Telegraph and its top recommended one was in the region of £2,000 - £3,000 😳😳😳

Soak & Sleep are very good, too

Groupon is your friend here. I've bought two this year, both feather and all seasons, neither were more than £50. Also I sleep in a king sized bed and have a super king sized duvet....lots of extra snuggly bedding!

I have a Baavet wool duvet which I've had for eight years and it still looks pristine.
They have a section on their website where they sell off duvets that have slight faults at lower prices - mine was slightly heavier than the advertised weight and had a good reduction because of that.

Just bought a Marks and Spencer all seasons duvet as I could not afford to pay a fortune . I love it . It’s light but warm

StillSmallVoice · 29/10/2020 13:37

I can't remember how much it cost but I have a wool duvet and it's fantastic. Really comfortable, and the wool is good at regulating temperature

I love my Baavet wool duvet. They sometimes gaze seconds reduced on their website, where a seam is wobbly or something.

I have just bought the DC single versions of this Slumberdown duvet. We’ve only had them 2 or 3 weeks, but they do seem very cosy, and £20 for a double looks good!!

BikeRunSki · 29/10/2020 13:45

This is the duvet I meant in my previous post.

John Lewis duck feather duvet is in that price range. They’re really good.

GoGoGone · 29/10/2020 20:23

I have John Lewis duck feather and it's great- only thing I would say is that I find my 4 tog at least as warm as my old cheapy 10 tog so you may want to season down!
