Best bedding?

I want to buy some new bedding. I'm not too fussed in the colour, but I don't want a heavy pattern - plain white would be fine. Can anybody recommend a particular brand? Do I just go with a high thread count? My budget is £150(ish) for a superking duvet cover, fitted sheet and two pillowcases.

Maybe look on Band Alley? They have some great reductions on good brands and high thread counts

John Lewis or m&s. X

The White Company.

Worth every penny IMO

Possibly similar to the White Company but I splurged on Joules bedding during lockdown and oh my word. It is a dream to lie in. Its a bit funky - looks quite plain but when you look closer has tiny dogs on it. I'm saving up for a second set Grin

Dunelm, I always go for 100% cotton. Many years ago worked for Dorma but you're looking at £250 ish for a SK set!

The LilySilk & Bed Bath & Beyond Brand

The White Company is good quality. I have a duvet cover from there that has just turned 20 years old, and is still doing well. However, I’m not into grey so haven’t bought anything in a while. I also like

Or try

Have also bought from Heal’s which has been fine but a bit of a bugger to iron.

I’ve just ordered a new super king set from Dusk lovely quality

I don't iron bedclothes at all, ever. Is 100% cotton the best thing? .

Cheaper ones can be a polycotton mix which is usually pretty good for not having to iron but for upgrading bedclothes I'd like to stick with the 'non-iron' stuff.

Also, I bought my sheets from M&S, the superking extra deep fitted sheets actually fit under our thick mattress and don't pop out of place. It's life changing.

I tend to go for brushed cotton. It’s sooooo soft and cosy for winter. John Lewis have it I think.
