Ideas to update fitted wardrobe doors

I have fitted wardrobe in my bedroom with 3 large sliding mirror doors- it takes up one whole wall. Is there any way I can't paint them- maybe just leave one as a mirror?
They're in desperate need of an update but don't have a lot of money to spend

I had this very problem when I moved into my house. I don’t like big mirrored doors (I don’t need to see that much of me at any time!). I used sticky back glass frosting to cover the mirrors - like this

I had 2 floor to ceiling doors to cover and cut the frosting into 8 large squares and stuck them all equidistantly. Looks amazing and expensive but was actually really cheap (less than a tenner I think), just a bit fiddly

Ah found the photo I was after, the is identical to what I did to mine, other than I used patterned (fleur de lis I think) frosting

I've considered doing that to one of my downstairs doors which have glass middles. Didn't think of that for the wardrobes!

That's a great idea. If you use static film there is no adhesive involved and it comes off very easily without trace. You just apply with Water. I just took some off a window - it stays in place incredibly well. Amazon have lots, and I've got very reasonable static film from Lidl before.

My friend has a hardware store in Spain where she sells an amazing selection by the meter but I've not seen that here.
