Copper fronted kitchen units/doors

Does anyone know where I can get some copper fronted kitchen cupboards from. I saw them on that interior design show with 2 architects competing where they do virtual reality - can’t remember the name.

Have googled it and found articles about them in style mags but no actual suppliers.

When we were looking at kitchens we saw that hacker (german brand) did some copper finished cupboards. I really liked them but then saw the price and nearly fainted. They were about 5x the price of the basic hacker range which was already quite pricey.

@MsRinky that is perfect. Thank you so much. I hadn’t considered brass.

I am thinking of having them all along the bottom cupboards, a white quartz type surface and white top cupboards. I think they will reflect the oak floor really nicely and be warm. Either that or maybe aubergine cupboards at the bottom instead. But I prefer the copper/metal look.

Not sure about fridge and freezer tho. Was thinking a big freestanding American double one. But the metals will clash.

Thanks again - I didn’t think anyone would answer me.

You could also look into copper paint - on one of the episodes of that show the homeowners had painted a pillar with copper paint and then used a special liquid to oxidise parts of it and I was thinking myself that that would look great on some plain slab cupboards. Craig & Rose do a copper paint.

When I've seen them done, they are usually Mdf or ply wood or ikea white flat doors, taken to a metal fabricator and wrapped. The ikea units in particular work out quite cheap doing this. You would need to ring round metal fabricators in your area.

There are also some panels online that you can get cut to size and sent out and you simply use grip glue to attach before fitting the doors on your units.

This last option is the one I may do due to price. I was looking at copper or brass and have not decided yet, but when I do I will do for the matching tap and maybe the sink also.
