Walk in showers - do they get messy?

I’m redoing my bathroom and I don’t like where the shower door is. I think a big long shower tray would be good. victoriaplum.com/product/mode-8mm-walk-in-shower-enclosure-pack-with-stone-shower-tray?options=size|1400_x_900

Thoughts? I thought water would get everywhere

They are great but make sure that you get a shower screen with an extra piece of glass shield to avoid the water splashing out. We had a similar design to the one in your link and had to Kay out another cloth in front of the shower to mop up the excess water. Something like this [https://www.manomano.co.uk/p/sunny-showers-1200mm-walk-in-wetroom-shower-screen-panel-8mm-easy-clean-glass-shower-enclosure-with-300mm-fixed-panel-13141681]

The advice I had from an independent bathroom supplier was that the glass needs to be 1200 or more to stop splashes and floods. Ours is about that and it’s fine - there’s a few splashes out of the gap but nothing a bathmat can’t handle. Much less that that I think would be an issue.

We have 1400 which is great and 1200 which is just enough.

Think they look great and very happy.

We have a walk in shower. We put the Aquaboard in rather than tiles. It’s easy to keep clean. We don’t have the metal baskets inside as they go rusty.

We just squeegy and spray shower spray on the glass. It keeps fine.

Occasionally I give the floor an anti grease clean and clean the dirt trap. Simples!
