'Heat shield' for wooden furniture?

Hello!
I'm moving into a new home soon, and the only place I can put a large wooden tv cabinet (sheesham / indian wood, not exact sure what!) is right next to a radiator.

I understand this might well cause the wood to warp over time, and it's a nice piece, so I really don't want to risk that. Does anyone know of a 'heat shield' (something I can put inbetween that side of the cabinet and the radiator), or anything similar? Or would that be snake oil anyway? I've been pouring over the internet trying to find something without joy. Ideally it wouldn't look too ugly as it's going to be VERY obvious in the room, but right now I can't even find anything which is surprising! Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms.

Any help or suggestions gratefully received, thanks. Smile

No idea I am afraid. I know generally it's not recommended to avoid damage to the wood, so maybe keeping it well lubricated with polish/wax would help limit future damage?

Expensive, but you could have the radiator moved or turn it off if there is another radiator in the room?

Thanks for the thoughts. Sadly its a rental place, so moving the radiator isn't an option, and its the only radiator for that room.
