Something creamier than magnolia?

But not too white and cold.

Most of my furniture is cream or grey. With a few coloured cushions etc.

Its for the living room. A small room, first floor flat, but quite light.

Currently magnolia, which is quite nice in the evening (warm soft focus) but a bit dull in daylight.

I suppose I want a strong warm cream, but not quite so yellow as magnolia?

Any suggestions from Interior design enthusiasts?!

Or there's a dulux trade colour called light gardenia, we had the downstairs of our old house painted in this and it was lovely. Much cooler toned than mag but warmer than white.

Oh and another suggestion - there's a shade called Roman white, think it's dulux too. We had that in the study and again, warmer than white but cooler than magnolia.

Thank you all you early bird home decorators.

I'm sitting here this morning and thinking "well its not too bad" (the magnolia!). In fact it is quite a warm and gentle colour, perhaps why its used a lot in this country where our springs and autumns are so long. White would just be too cold, at least in a living room. I could also just add a little "white" or "cream" to the next magnolia paint job.

Thanks y'all.
