F&B Tallow - is this a good option for a dark room?

I have a back reception room that doesn't get much natural light. Even on a sunny day it is dark in the room after midday. At the moment it's painted in pale hound, which I love but no-one else seems to like. But it does not reflect any light so I'm looking for a paint that is known to be very light reflective but also has a bit of interest to it. Would Tallow tick that box?

I have Tallow in a bedroom, albeit a sunny room. It’s very warm, a lovely colour.

I think Pale Hound is quite lemon-y. It would look chilly in a dark room.

Agree tallow can be lemony and could look cold.

I have Dulux Natural Wicker in my north east facing bedroom which doesn’t get much light. It’s a warm pinky cream. It works.

Alternatively you could embrace the lack of light and go for a darker bolder colour to create a more cosy and intimate feeling? In smaller darker spaces you can be fighting a losing battle trying to make them feel lighter with paint when you don’t have much natural light to work with.

We went for the dark option and painted our back room a warm burgundy red, with white woodwork and gold mirror and frames. It looks good.

We’ve got f and b tallow on a small room upstairs and it’s fine....but just fine,

I would love to go the dark option - I adore the dark blue colours that are around at the moment, but the room also feeds light to a gloomy windowless hallway. I fit were a self contained room I'd be happy with embracing the dark and going for coziness. Our hallway is painted in Pointing but that feels a bit boring for the back room, which does have quite a bit of quirky furniture in it.

Pale hound is gloomy in poor light. It looks fabulous when it gets the sun on it and even works okay at night when lit with side lamps. It's definitely one of the colours that looks different at all times of the day.

No-one has ever come in the house and complimented the room though, so I think it's very wrong for that room and perhaps a colour that is not to many people's taste. I don't want to get it wrong again. Does anyone know off the top of their head which other shades score high for light reflectivity?

If you want F and B, they have a few very new shades in yellowy oranges, and white shades thereof. Perhaps check those out?
I also like jasmine white
