Desperately in need of flooring help

I really need new flooring in our entrance/dining/kitchen area. It needs to be easily cleaned (this is my most important factor) and hard wearing as we have 2 kids and a big dog.
We currently have laminate which is warped and vinyl which always looks filthy regardless of how much its cleaned.
Both sets of floors are less than 5 years old but I hate them so much. This flooring will be the last we put down for a very long time so I have to get it right.
Please help, I'm desperate!

Bloody predictive text ; I meant Amtico!

Dark coloured lino is what we got, and it looks beautiful, and we have definitely not looked back.

I am in a similar position. We got LVT flooring and it all started coming up less than a year being down and is now all torn and gappy, it looks appalling :( I bought it from a local tradesman who advertised on fb but he’s just fobbed us off and done nothing. I don’t think we can afford Karndean etc having paid £1300 for this already so I reckon we’re just going to get vinyl roll so it doesn’t look so shitty

If you have the budget I'd go for Karndean or Polyflor which is similar. (Amtico is similar but much more expensive).
It is much more hardwearing then sheet vinyl and suitable for use in kitchen areas so shouldn't warp.
With kids and dogs I would go for a wood or limestone effect that doesn't show the marks.
It is really important that you have a good fitter though who knows how to lay it properly. Ask around on local Facebook groups. Don't go through a fancy interiors shop who charge a massive markup!!
As for the alternatives, you may be able to get a laminate that is moisture resistant so doesn't warp but it is very noisy and slippy for dogs IME.
Sheet vinyl is easily damaged.
I had a bad experience with ceramic tiles which were expensive but impossible to keep looking clean and cold.

Mine is polyflor I suspect the issue is in how it was laid and not the floor itself

I have Karndean in kitchen diner. French Oak wood effect. Love it. Got it put down on the diagonal. Looks superb and gets lots of compliments.

What about cork or rubber flooring?
Eco options, lovely and soft underfoot too.
I've had both and considering rubber again nowZ
