Fed up with buying towels that promise to dry but even up just moving water over your body 😂

We have been renting up until now but about to buy our first home so looking for some decent quality do as they say towels. First world problems I know but if anyone can recommend I'd be grateful!

I like White Company. The only ones I've ever had that are still soft and fluffy after several years.

M&S towels bought 15 years ago are still in daily use! Buy egyptiancotton, don’t use fabric conditioner and dry in the tumble dryer!

I always buy Egyptian cotton towels from John Lewis. They're a decent price considering the quality but you can save a few bob if you wait for the sales :)

I bought one for DD a couple of weeks ago in Asda, it was brand new in, in a mustard colour and was £8 for the massive bath sheet, £6 for the normal bath towel and think £4 for a hand towel. They have 2 lots of towels, these were the extra soft ones or something they were called. It is fantastic. She loves it for starters but it is really soft, thick and fluffy. All our others now feel pretty rubbish in comparison even though they were all more expensive. Definitely worth looking at, I can't remember what other colours they had but they do feel thicker than all the others they sell.

No fabric conditioner
Never had a problem with towels from anywhere
Usually Christy but also had Next JL and others from tkmaxx

Primark and Costco has good ones and stays soft

I got a 2 Next bales 13 years ago and was only thinking the other day how well they have lasted.

I think lack of fabric conditioner is the key to absorbency.

dunelm mills have some of the fluffiest softest towels ive ever owned.

they do a whole range from budget to ££££ - i have the pricey ones for the first time in my life and i love them.
they have kept their colour, and if tumble dried they feel like clouds!
