House renovation - how much does ANYTHING cost!?

Bought a house and prior to this thought I was totally clued up about how much it would cost to renovate it. I'd done plenty of research and made estimates etc. But now I actually have the property I'm finding so many mixed messages. So thought I'd post here ~to get a few more mixed messages~

So how much is it for things like:
Small Kitchen + fitting
Small Bathroom + fitting
Completely new electrics
Central heating

(Doing all the walls and stuff myself and was also thinking of fitting the kitchen myself as have slight experience as fitted the one in my current house... it was very effing difficult but as fitting costs a couple of grand im prepared to do it)

Thanks everyone!

Our small ikea kitchen is costing 5k + 1.5k fitting.

The 5k includes double oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher.

We got a really nice hand painted kitchen from a local supplier (painted in farrow and ball), for 4K. Plus appliances. My dad fitted it.

Our bathroom was about £3.5k, FIL flitted it for us. That included floor to ceiling tiles.

Where are you, as a lot of jobs will cost a lot more in a place like London compared to 'up North', for example.

How long is a piece of string. Where I live a bathroom would be 5k incl fitting, and a kitchen more like 8-10k minimum. Don’t know about require and plumbing. If all
Of those things need doing though, you’ll be plastering and decorating too.

Might be an idea to let us know where you are ( rough area) as then people can give you a better ballpark figure.
