SOS - Im lost in a maze of glossy white kitchens atm. Need to get my kitchen redone and don't know which company is best / worth paying the price.
Its a galley kitchen down one wall of the living room and Im looking for something glossy white and minimal no handles.
Quote from B&Q - £3221.94 Quote from Wicks - £4775
Wicks looks more quality, but a lot more money is it worth the spend?
I haven't got a Howdens quote yet - would it be more than Wicks?
Have also been recommended DIY kitchens as cheap - are they as good as Wicks or Howdens?
Each appointments been taking me 3 hours so looking for some advice from you lot who may have purchased so I know which company could be worth it! THANKYOU

I have a DIY Kitchens kitchen. It was fitted in October, I've been really impressed. We had one unit made to order and it was delivered damaged but they replaced no problems delivered a week later. The kitchen fitters kept saying how good quality it is when they were fitting it. Ours is a Matt finish not gloss. Price was cheaper than wickes with a lot more pan drawers and made to order larder unit. We paid about £3500 for our units and worktop, total of 13 units including 3 lots of pan drawers, oven tower unit and made to order larder unit and 8m of laminate worktop.

I did the same thing, I got a plan drawn up and got quotes from all of them (also buildbase)
There was little difference in quality, some minor options available with some shops over others but if you have a design you like you're halfway there.
We ended up going with b&q to supply and fit, it was thousands cheaper than howdens, and also cheaper than wicks. Also as the fitter was through b&q any issues with stock he sorted same day and the removal and fit was done in a week.
I would highly recommend b&q after my experience with them. Good luck!

Like YorkshireTea86 said, +1 for DIY Kitchens. I had my new kitchen fitted in April a matt white Luca handleless (sprayed, smooth painted and no edging). It cost 6k but the kitchen is big, as the previous owners knocked all the walls out at the back of the house and the kitchen now spans the whole back of the house, left to right.

Most of the other quotes that I got were way more expensive and to get the same price elsewhere, I would have had to have limited my design to use limited units widths, which I was not prepared to do and the edging around on the other kitchens I looked at was poor. This was the main reason that I replaced the old kitchen in my house as the edging on the old one had fallen off (and I mean that literally) over the past year. All I did was open and close the doors. One thing to look at peeps when/if you get your new one! If you want diy kitchens' white gloss handleless then this is the only option they have

I don't think you're comparing like with like. I'd say certainly B&Q & Wickes are at the bottom end of the market, Howdens possibly a little better, but DIY Kitchens are much better than any of those options. Search for other threads on here about DIY Kitchens, they come highly recommended.
