How can I warm up a north facing kitchen/lounge

It’s a new build house with crown winter bloom on both walls and ceiling. I’m not really sure if I want to go as far as painting/papering yet but definitely need to change my fabrics and accessories. I have basically just repeated what I had in my previous home which is duck egg. All my furniture and kitchen units are white so when you walk into the room everything is just a cold blue. So the duck egg needs to go.

What colours do I need to use to warm this room up? All I can think of is yellow.

If anyone was willing to show their warmly decorated north facing rooms is really appreciate that too.

I like magnolia, we have a lot of it and I find that magnolia with dim lighting makes our living room feel cozy and warm. In summer months I put a massive vase of sunflowers in the middle of the coffee table and that brightens it up and makes it look summery. In the winter I have lots and lots of the Ikea candles that are battery operated. My room is quite small though and the tv is mounted between a black tv stand thing from Ikea and the wall bridge unit above. The telly is huge so a lot of our light in the evening comes from there. Wood floor and a large grey rug and it's all very gothic but cozy, it's a warm room. I suppose it depends whether you want to brighten it up or cozy it up I think.

Our north facing room is a combined dining room/lounge. Also a new build and we're planning to paint the standard matte white walls in Farrow & Ball Joa's White (a warm, red-based neutral). We have a lot of wood and leather in the room, which helps make things feel warm.
