Would you bother to purchase Roman blinds for small window in living room

Hi all i'm currently contemplating whether to put roman blinds in my living room area and would be grateful for some advice.

My living room faces the back part of the house with no one able to overlook therefore privacy is not an issue. I have patio doors leading to the garden which are dressed with curtains only, but I also have a really small window on the same side in the corner of the room which is currently undressed. I have been deliberating Roman blind textures and colours which has been quite a bit of a headache and I'm wondering if it's even worth it as there are no draft issues and no one can see in hence its for decorative purposes only.

I was just wondering what would you do? And if you have any other ideas. I don't want Venetian blinds.

Many thanks in advance for your advice Confused

You can make yourself a purely ornamental (non closing) Roman blind for about £10 which would dress the window nicely. Basically buy a small amount of whatever fabric you like, the size of the window plus around 10cm all round. Buy lining the same size and stichable Velcro.

Lots of tutorials online and can be done in about an hour. You can even use wundaweb if you don't sew.

I did it for all my little hallway windows that never need to shut but look good. Biggest bonus is you can buy a gorgeous super luxurious fabric because you only need a tiny bit.
