Anyone got a polyflor floor? Good or bad?

Hi ive not moved yet but i like to research everything early. Im looking into polyflor vinyl floors, like karndean or amtico but cheaper. Has anyone got one or experience of one?

Had this in the kitchen for the last 5 years. It's been fine. I don't think there's much difference between the different brands to be honest.

Hi flirty. We've just laid Polyflor Expona in grey limed oak in our extension- so I obviously can't vouch for its longevity, but it looks brilliant and feels great underfoot. Polyflor is a brand of LVT (luxury vinyl tile) owned by the same ppl that own Karndean (or it could be Karndean that are the owners- not too sure). Anyhow, Expona is their commercial line and I went with this based on the recommendation of another Mumsnetter who did a great deal of research into the thickness of top layers, which defines durability. We had Polyflor in our old kitchen too.

Thanks Tatlerer, great info i had looked at camaro so ill go look at expona now, the wear layer was what was worrying me.

whats the difference between the wear layers for the home and commercial range and is there a big price difference? I am looking into getting polyflor in my new kitchen and living extension.

I have Polyflor Camero in a 'waxed pine' (I think) effect.
I've had it in my hallway and clock room for about 6 years and 2 years in my kitchen.
Overall I am very pleased with it. It looks good and is warm under foot. If I were to find a negative it would be that dirt get's ingrained in the wooden 'texture', but this is mainly due to me not cleaning it as often as I probably should have.
