Best Dulux neutral to maximise light and space

House is a small, west-facing Victorian terrace. The rooms are small (largest is 12x11 foot) and don't get a lot of natural light, except on sunny summer evenings when the front rooms are flooded. It also feels cold most of the year, even though it's not!

I want one neutral throughout before we put the place on the market, which needs to make it feel lighter, bigger and warmer! We currently have a pale pink in the living room, which I love, but it needs redoing and I realise pink isn't to everyone's taste. DS's room is pale yellow, which I think works in terms of light but wouldn't work throughout. Both seem to help in terms of light and warmth though, so I was thinking either Nutmeg White (pink toned) or Fine Cream (yellow toned).

Needs to be Dulux please, I'm not spending on F&B just to sell it.

Hmm. Just tried some samples. Nutmeg White isn't white at all, it's greige. Polished Pebbble, which I've seen recommended on here, is too grey. Couldn't get a sample of Fine Cream, got Timeless instead; just looked white to me. May try White Cotton tomorrow.

I had white cotton in my living room and it was effectively just white but softer than brilliant white

i love timeless.

Nutmeg White in my house is sort of greige, quite nice but cool-toned. Goes well with plain white.
You could also try Rock Salt and Natural Calico.

Ah -- see you've tried Nutmeg White now. Slow poster here. Grin

White Mist is a very pale grey, quite nice.
Just Walnut is a warmish greige, about two tones deeper than Nutmeg white.

You can probably tell I've spent a fortune on tester pots recently....

Natural Hessian is nice.

Morming light and Desert Wind are both nice.
