Sorry...another grey paint question!

I'm after a really soft barely there grey paint

Preferably quite warm as it's for a coldish bathroom

I've got white wall tiles & grey patterned floor tiles, so needs to be neutral

Thanks in advance :)

It's hard to explain. The room has a very high vaulted ceiling & plenty of natural daylight. It's not a dark room. It's long & narrow.

At the moment the walls are pure white and it feels very clinical & cold, I guess due to the starkness of the white on the walls.

The tiles are white & floor is patterned grey. I thought a pale grey would soften the room & go well with the grey & white, what do you think?

I've tried white mist this morning it's too cool :(

Anyone tried nutmeg white?

I have been through this pain, and many many many tester pots!

Try Valspar Shetland Sweater from B&Q. Looks too light in the picture, but fits your remit perfectly.

Duluth timeless engraved locket is lovely

I'll third little greene French grey - they do 3 tones it's the lightest one and a lovely soft grey colour

I second trying strong white. I have it in my north facing bedroom with big 1960's windows. It's a very pale soft warm grey in my room.

I always like to come on to these threads to recommend just walnut (Dulux), but I see someone else has beaten me to it. No idea why it's called Just Walnut, but we found it after at least £30 worth of testers, and have used it in several houses now. Lovely and soft, not cold, but not beigy either.

Sounds beautiful! If the light is coming from the North it will be blueish, so that will cool down any neutral you use.

tartan I agree!! We have Shetland sweater valspar all downstairs ..very pale but you see the difference against the white above the picture rail

4th ing little gree french grey pale! Get the first coat colourmatched in something cheaper is my top tip, it’s wildly expensive but beautiful. F&b strong white also lovely!

I’ve just painted my long narrow bathroom (with white wall tiles and grey floor tiles!) in grey hints which is a very pale b&q own brand colour. I’m really pleased with it. It is on the cool side but matched the grey in my tiles perfectly. We also have just walnut in our bedroom and it’s a lovely colour a bit stronger and warmer than grey hints but wouldn’t have been the right match for my Tiles.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

So we've made a decision...white mist!

Okay, it's not Greige! it's a very pale subtle grey. Not too warm not too cold. It's very very pale.

I got some of the testers suggested, the warm greys suggested are really lovely colours, but they looked muddy/brown in the bathroom weirdly!

But I've got my bedroom, hall, stairs & landing to do as well so off to test them there 😬😬 thanks everyone
