Built in wardrobes

We've just moved to a new house with zero storage in the bedrooms from our old flat that had a luxurious amount of built in wardrobes and shelving. We rented that place so I have no idea who did the wardrobes.

Does anyone have any recommendations for built in wardrobe companies that are quite reasonably priced?

Have you looked at Ikea Pax wardrobe systems? There are lots of hacks to give them a built in appearance with the use of crown moulding etc.

Someone has mentioned them before, I had a bit of a look online and just didn't know what would be the best use of space. The alcoves we've got are quite narrow so would they work?

www.spacemakerfurniture.co.uk/showrooms/spacemakers
Have used them for both dc bedrooms and they are very good but not cheap.
Mananaged to get triple door wardrobes, overhead cupboards , desk, chest of drawers and book case into dcs 8ft x 6ft room

I got a local joiner in to do mine. Got a quote from Hammonds which was £££. Joiner was about a grand cheaper AND made bespoke doors which matched my bedroom door and window seat panelling (it's a period property so I was a bit fussy about the wardrobe doors matching style of period). Did a fantastic job.

Thanks guys! With local joiners would you typically brief them on what you wanted or do they advise on the best use of space as well? I know it's different for each individual but is the advice bit quite common? I have no idea what would be best!

How wide are your alcoves?

My joiner did advise on space but I was a bit cheeky and used the Hammonds graphics that they sent to me as starting point for joiner. Hammands do a virtual design when they come to give you a quote (and I got them to come in first). Might be worth getting someone like Hammonds or Sharpes to come in and quote first to give you a better idea?
