Best colour matching service for F&B Calamine

I've settled on Calamine for DD's bedroom. I don't mind paying F&B prices - it isn't a huge room and I've done quite a few rooms in Little Greene, which is a similar price point - but I CANNOT get on with F&B's consistency and coverage. Little Greene don't have anything comparable; Chemise is pretty but doesn't have the lovely grey note.

Has anyone had Calamine colour-matched at a service that they would recommend? I think the grey makes it quite tricky. I live in a big city so can get to pretty much any DIY store or decorators' centres.

Dulux? Valspar? Johnstones?

I think the problem with colour matching is that you don't get the same depth of pigment or finish and them it looks a bit meh. Have you tried using modern emulsion rather than estate emulsion? It's much easier to paint with

Johnstones is supposed to be a good match. Most people on this street have F&B paints but some have used the Johnstone mixing shop near us & are happy with the results.

I used F&B paint & I think it was 4 if not more coats to get a decent cover.

I second witwoo's point. Colour match just doesn't compare to the original as there is less natural pigment and you don't get the lovely dynamic colour changes or chalky finish. I'd endure!

Dulux has a range of paint called Timeless Classics. One of the colours from that range is called Love Note, which in my opinion is very close to F & B calamine.
