Kitchen-diner paint finish

Is it a advisable to use specialist 'kitchen' paint in the dining section of a kitchen diner? Or can I get away with using a regular paint finish?

Why wouldn't you use the same paint throughout? Would be a bit weird to have differing paints. But yes, kitchen paint (Dulux endurance kitchen is vg)

We're moving house. The house is currently painted white throughout but I want to inject colour. The kitchen area has very little exposed wall space (wall hung cupboards) and realistically we won't do anything with the existing kitchen for a long time. However, the dining area section has lots of exposed wall areas which I would like to paint (currently white). I'm not overly keen on painting it with kitchen paint due to the higher sheen finish, but I think endurance paint might be a good idea.

Not a new build and kitchen is well ventilated. However, the hob is situated on a breakfast bar which delineates between kitchen and dining area and has a recirculating extractor above.

From what you say endurance sounds fine but I'd go for valspar premium....comes in any colour you like and is truly scrubbable
