Could you show me or describe your 2-3 year olds bedrooms?

We have just moved into a new house, my 2.4 ds is still sleeping in our room in his cot because he's still waking at night. He needs a bedroom just for him, his room is currently clothes airer and toy room. I a stumped on how to decorate it, I need ideas and inspiration I have googled toddler rooms kids rooms boys rooms a thousand times and nothing stands out! His room is tiny with grey carpet and white walls ATM. Can I see your toddlers bedrooms to get inspiration please?

My sons room is currently a work in progress, so a photo wouldn't be much help.

I got fab rocket and planet wall stickers off of Not on the high street. His walla are off white and it looks really effective. Easy to change when the time comes and not too over the top. He has a bright blue blackout blind with stripey curtains. Ikea expedit unit with the different bright coloured canvas storage boxes. I love his room

At that age, ine simply had clean yellow walls, no imagery, and plenty of toy storage. They mostly slept in there (in fact DS1 didn't play in there as he shared with his 2.5 yr younger brother who eventually used it for naps) so it didn't matter all that much.

Clean and comfortable with adequate safe storage for what needs to be kept in there is all you need.

I think they were about £25 looks like they're still available. So easy to apply.

Pinterest is fab, but far out of my league in terms of imaginative storage, colour combos etc and pickachew I neeeed storage in his room, but I hate the plastic ones I don't know why I just do and the toy boxes are so expensive, going to try go with one nice toy box and plastic under bed storage and try fit one behind his wardrobe too, ring a ding those stickers are fab, the wall colour is just what I wanted aswell and it goes well with those stickers, I thought light blue walls and all his colourful toys would look odd but those stickers will help blend it all in I think :)

We don't have wall stickers etc but there are colourful posters - counting, cbbc ones, etc. The furniture is dark brown, walls magnolia, carpet beige (new build defaults), curtains are red/blue/white/beige striped, various blankets and quilts on the floor (to collect tipped out duplo etc) which migrate around the house and so don't match any decor anywhere. The general impression is quite cheery and colourful because of bright books and toys against the neutral background.

Most parents I know have the ikea storage frame and colours fabric boxes that slot into it - cheap and cheerful and looks great. That and a fun lampshade!
