I know they exist. They are in JL (in RL, not online). And they cost a fortune.

Can anyone suggest somewhere online ?

I fancy a big arrangement of hydrangeas or something similar in the hallway...

Bloom.
And don't know if they are available online, but there are some nice Jane Packer ones in Sainsbury's.

There's quite a famous shop near me but just googled and their pretty bowls of silk hydrangeas start at £400. Guess that's not what you're after.

Here. I have had mine for years, worth every penny Smile

NotOnTheHighStreet and Ebay both seem to have loads. Ebay's are very cheap - from £2 a stem.

didireallysaythat · 09/07/2016 08:37

not that's probably exacrky what I'm after but I'm too tight to part with £400. I fear the eBay ones may reflect their price tag...

Barbie thank you - I'd not seen them

Turns out the JL ones are on line - they are florasilk and in the sia price range.

Pippin I'll check Sainsbury's online - we only have small ones around here so very little home stuff.

Thank you all.

Sia are beautiful but very £££ try TK Maxx, I've got some Sia ones there before. Also you might get lucky in Ikea. There is a fabulous florist in Surrey that does all artificial flowers, took me ages to realise, but they are very, very, very expensive. Gorgeous though!

Next do an amazing orchid for £50!

Try Peony: www.peony.co.uk

These ones are lovely - I have similar from there and they look great.

If you want to dust them in future:

Put some granulated sugar in a paper bag

Put the flower head in the paper bag and scrunch the bag closed around it

Shake, lots.

Knocks all the dust of beautifully :)

didireallysaythat · 17/07/2016 14:16

mypropertea I would never gave thought of that, but it is the dust that puts me off - thank you !

Peony are excellent
You can buy from them online, via QVC, and they have an outlet in Ruckley, Shropshire, which is where I usually get mine from
Been buying from there for years and still have my originals

Nanasueathome · 17/07/2016 14:20

Ps
I wash mine outside with a bowl of soapy water and then rinse them off and leave to dry
