Where to buy interesting fabric in London?

I am doing up our lounge and need to cover a large seat cushion, I love quirky mid century patterns and though Pinterest is full of them, my local shops are not . Am going to London for the day soon, surely this is my best chance of finding something special! Any ideas on where to look?

There are a few fabric shops on Berwick Street in Soho which stock non run of the mill fabrics, I especially love the Cloth House.

Also for 50s/60s type pattern have a look at Clarke and Clarke festival collection or prestious fabrics accent collection online. I buy from A H Naylor fabrics online as they seem to be about the cheapest.

Cloth House is good. Also Ray Stich in Islington - check their website to see if it's stuff you like. Village Haberdashery in Hampstead (also has a great website). There are also a lot of fabulous retailers online which will send our samples of the fabric first. If you need some online suggestions I can give you some...

I think you'd like St Judes fabrics if you like quirky, mid-century stuff. You can get samples online really easily, though I'm not sure where (if anywhere) they are stocked...

Liberty, I could spend my day in the haberdashery there. Not too far from Berwick St so you could check out the fabric shops down there too as others have suggested. Soho is your best bet if you are staying central.
