Bi fold bathroom door - lock? Or no?

I have just installed a bi fold door on my bathroom as the room is tiny and this has made it so much more spacious.
However, since then a couple of guests have commented that there's no lock.

I feel comfortable with an open door policy but just wondering if I should install a simple bolt at the top for guests to give them more comfort?

For reference - my old door didn't lock but no one was ever bothered. Possibly as it was a 'proper' door....

Lots of people are uncomfortable with unlocked toilet doors, so it would be a good idea to put a small lock on the door.

Where did you find a nice one?
What is it made of?

But yes add a lock, nothing worse than walking in on an a relative

Yes, lock. I would hate a bathroom with no lock.

Thanks. Fair enough, I'll get a catch of some sort.

I got the door in Wickes.
It's nice enough. Does the job. Needs painting. Came ready primed. About £60.
To be honest, I didn't think much about it. Just went out and bought one!!

I think a small bolt type thing would be perfectly OK doesn't need a proper lock. In general we always had an "if the door is shut - knock' policy , but that changed when DC became teenaged Smile.

Yes, maybe one of those little hooks that flips over.
