Displaying DC's art?

(reposting after chat didn't work...) It's overflowing! It's all over the walls and the fridge, with tape or blue tack, looking messy. I want something that frames the art, each of the 2 DC to have say 4 frames and they can choose what they want to put in them. So whatever it is, I'd like to have say 8 of it, or 4 if they are double. Something like this or this but in stock and not so expensive that I couldn't get 4-8 of them!
What do you do for DC art? Some of you must have beautiful ideas that don't cost the earth!

First ever is framed on the living room wall (I know, I know, very pfb). I have a washing line style display on the kitchen wall, a length of parcel string flat against the wall with most recent masterpieces paperclipped to this. It's easy enough to change and basically consists of 2 tacs, a bit of string and a handful of paperclips - available in messy drawers up and down the land :)

Cheap clip art or box frames that you can change pictures in easily. Sticking onto backing paper/card first to give a neat border makes them look smarter, could have sheets up on a wall or noticeboard and just change artwork over as wished. A nice memory box or scrapbook to keep others in.

Thanks! I think the washing line method wouldn't look neat enough (especially given the mess of drawings and papers that tends to be around the area, sigh).. But maybe I'll try it and see.
Cirsium, where can you get the cheap clip/box frames that you change things in easily? I guess that's what I was looking for but I couldn't find any that are both cheap and appear easy to change things over in! I like the idea of backing paper, thanks.

Ikea are usually good for that type of thing, thinking of getting some myself to put photos in on a not very strong wall shelf in our new rented house. Supermarkets, hobbycraft or pound shops probably worth a look too. I'll let you know where I get mine from.

I saw on pintrest, cork in different sized/shaped frames, all over a wall - then just pin the art in. It looked very cool.

I have pegs attached to the kitchen wall (I got some pastel blue and cream ones that arch the kitchen decor! ) I have 6 in 2 lines of 3 so it makes rectangle and just clip the current pictures there

We also hve a pin board in the kitchen which I painted the edge in a complimentary colour to go with the Walls then stuck some nice fabric over the board. I also got some nice butterfly pins an little pictures, invites etx get stuck on there.

Ikea do cheap A4 size frames (not clip frames, proper frames with a border) that I use. I have a picture rail that they sit on, rather than being hung on the wall, and it is very easy to pop new pictures in to change them regularly.

I have two rails and loads of frames on them, photos as well, and mix and match them all around regularly.

I agree, pinboards and string and things looks too messy for me!

Finally got to ikea and bought a selection of Nytta frames which come in black, white and bright colours and from a6 photo size up to about a3. Biggest size costs about £5, smaller ones £2.50 for two. They have perspex instead of glass but that suits my needs as I don't think the shelf they are going on will take much weight.

Mine are teens and all I have are 3 framed pictures of my favourites when they were young. It's funny looking over them now, each picture is different but weirdly reflect their personalities now. Everything else went in the bin..Confused

I use the wall art displayed holder. Hangs off a hook, easy to change the pics. Looks tidy and only £14.
