Looks lovely in the match pot but how does it look on a large scale. Is it just white really? Am thinking I maybe need something more cream but know Timeless is popular.

I have this in the hallway which is very big, and going up the stairs. Also have it on a couple of walls in the family area, the kitchen and dining room, it is also in our bedroom.
It is a soft cream colour when it is on. we used to have a darker cream ( Calico) and the Timeless looks so much fresher.
I am very happy with it, and you can wipe it clean if you get the diamond tough version.

So does come out cream then? Thanks for reply btw.

No it's not cream at all.more like a soft white

chickydoo · 19/01/2014 09:42

Looks cream to me

BikeRunSki · 19/01/2014 09:46

I love Timeless, i would say it is a soft off white, but different people's perceptions, light and descriptions will give you all sorts of different ideas. If the matchpot works well for you and your space, the it should be fine. One MNer's cream is another MNer's off white.

Thanks. I do like the colour.

We had it in our old dining room. It is white to me but much less stark and clinical than a brilliant white. It's nice.

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 20/01/2014 09:05

I have it in my hallway and up the stairs.

It is not cream in the slightest!

It's a greyed white,so slightly off white and has a softness to it

If you want a really good white/cream then try Dulux Timeless Classics Bone China. We have it everywhere now as it worked so well. A lot of my friends ask what it is when they come in as it is a really good offwhite. Took years of trying all sorts until we stumbled on this.

I have it all over the place on some really big walls, in various lighting conditions from bright to dull. It looks cream everywhere but a subtle, vintage cream. My house is decorated quite 'period' style.

Piscivorus · 20/01/2014 09:17

Maybe it depends on the light?
I have it in my kitchen. In some lights it looks off-white and quite a bit lighter than the cupboards, at the moment it looks cream and fairly similar to them
I really like it and think it would go well in either period or modern settings

MrsPnut · 20/01/2014 09:30

We have this in our front sitting room, a bedroom and in the kitchen.
It's sort of a soft off white and copes beautifully with any kind of lighting.
Our front sitting room is fairly dark, as is our kitchen but the bedroom is very light - I like it so much that I'm thinking of painting our study and playroom in the same colour.

chickydoo · 20/01/2014 18:00

If I open a pot of extra thick double cream, that is what timeless looks like. A pot of cream, so to me that's what colour it is...cream

PrimalLass · 22/01/2014 11:32

My whole house is painted in Timeless. It changes colour slightly depending on what you put beside it. It is designed to do this, so that it goes with everything.
