At what age would you not be worried about blinds in a child's bedroom?

My DS is a sensible 6 year old - should I still be concerned about the safety of blind cords in his bedroom?

They are only really unsafe if they are in a loop or trail on the floor. I've had blinds since DD was born, I just tie the cords up out if the way.

I'm a worrier so probably never :)

DS is 5 and very sensible, but I still wrap the cord around one of these:

What do you do at the moment or is there no blind in his room at the moment and you're thinking of installing one?

Blinds these days have short ball-bearing type cords, that fix to the wall at the end, so there's no way children can tangle themselves. The ones from ikea and dunelm mill are like this, anyway.
My children have blackout blinds in their rooms- the youngest cannot even reach the cord.

We are replacing a blind that has fallen down - just moved house but there are blinds all over the house. Some of them have those hooks though that miffybun linked to.
