We have a bay window in our bedroom which has an angle of about 120 degrees IYSWIM rather than being square/90 degrees.

Could you recommend me a curtain pole or track?

The ones my mum has in her house are fairly old useless and a pita to fit!

We have tracks in our bay windows. I'm not a big fan but I couldn't see how else to do it.

We had the bay poles with the adjustable corners from John Lewis, like this which are nice and worked well but are extremely expensive.
I've seen similar online for much less money that look rather similar.
Just make sure you have enough rings for the weight of your curtain and if the window is large look at a bay set with additional passing brackets these and passing rings these to ensure it doesn't sag.

We have tracks, I really hate them. Poles just worked out too much.

A quick google produced this
Or these

The advantage if track is that the curtains will run smoothly, especially if you have it corded, and it works out a lot cheaper than a pole. A lot of people prefer the look of a pole tho, and will put up with the inconvenience of gently guiding the curtains over the corner brackets etc.

I have corded track and pencil pleat curtains (cheaper) and have had wooden box pelmets built to cover the track, painted in to match walls or woodwork. An alternative is to cover the pelmet box in fabric. The pelmet keeps more light out to and you can 'return' the curtain round the end of the track to the wall and cut light there too. So it comes down to what you need really.

Often recommended on here, but Merrick and Day do both bay window poles and corded tracks.

We used tracks--poles were pricey and the tracks aren't too obtrusive. We needed white and wall mounted, and for a big bay, we decided on 'swish sologlyde' in the end and it seems good so far. link

I'd have a track with a pelmet over the top if I could.

Apologies for muscling in, but we've got a similar problem... if anyone can recommend a track that can be ceiling mounted into a bay, I would be very grateful!

We've got a similar bay window and have gone for a pole with the passing rings and brackets as mentioned above. They are a real pain to draw and the rings regularly get stuck on the corner bracket. If we did it again, I would have a serious look at tracks!
