Can anyone recommend a full size freestanding stainless steel or silver coloured dishwasher? Thanks!

We got the John Lewis own brand one, it got good reviews on Which? Not sure about the colours it comes in though.

Thanks! Do you have recommendations for a washer dryer in one?

Meile

Miele, Miele. Miele worth every penny.
Mines integrated but it's the cleverness of it's design + washing ability not it's look that makes it so fab. We've just moved and unfortunately it's residing in the garage to be fitted in the new kitchen when it comes. I'm currently using the Neff one which came with the house. Relatively new but doesn't wash as well, makes the glasses cloudy Sad and only fits 2/3rds of the stuff in that the Miele does. Can't wait to get it back!

We have a John Lewis own brand too, it's about 9 years old and has never let us down... ditto our washing machine. They're both white though.

we have a Bosch one that is good. It has a cutlery tray at the top of the machine rather than a basket in the bottom rack which frees up some space

Bosch and Zanussi (who I think make John Lewis) are good in my experience. Got an AEG with the kitchen and it's pretty crap. Flimsy drawers and it doesn't dry properly. I'll change it when I can.

I have a Bosch which was one of their middle of the range ones. Very disappointed in it - doesn't wash brilliantly clean, glasses are getting scratched/cloudy, the little wheels keep falling off the bottom layer making it difficult to wheel in and out, especially when loaded.

Worst, it seems to have a permanent Eco thing going on where it uses the final rinse water as the first rinse of the next wash. If you go away on holiday you have to remember to drain it otherwise it festers while you are away. Yuk. But even doing a wash every day, if there's even a little lip where water can catch, it does. And it's never clean water, always grey and little sandy bits in which then tend to spill on stuff below as the top rack doesn't pull out that smoothly Sad double yuk.

we have a Bosch Logixx which is the more expensive range and havent had any issues with it. Dont have to drain it and the dishes get clean even on the 29 minute cycle

Ihatemytoes · 05/08/2013 21:51

We have a Bosch Logixx too. It's fab. Very quiet, and we can fit loads inside. Cutlery drawer instead of a basket, and adjustable racks. Very pleased with it.
