Chances of EasyJet prices going down?

Wanting flights to Barcelona from Newcastle in Septemeber - specific dates unfortunately.

At the moment for the 3 of us inc luggage its £525

D'ya reckon there is any chance of them coming down in price before then or there being a sale?

Booked flights for May with Ryanair at the begininng of the year, 4 weeks prior to departure they were nearly half price (£200 less)

I think it's unlikely. we booked flights last November for France, for this August with Easyjet (this is when the flights were released)
Have seen them rise steadily in price, and they are currently twice the price now then they were in November.
Of course you could wait till nearer the time and be lucky enough to get them cheaper, but you take the risk of lack of availability then.

I've used easyjet a couple of times and like curry said, the prices seem to go up as the departure date gets closer.

Easyjet are better than some airlines in that if their prices do go down, they'll give you a credit note towards your next flight.

So it's always worth checking a few days before departure just in case!

I got a £70 credit back on a flight last year, so assuming they haven't changed their policy you could just chance it?

Easyjet price slices (first x seat are cheapest, next y are cheap, next z a bit more etc) so are very unlikley to go down.

Ryanair dynamically prices, so popular flights go up quickly empty flights may go down nearer departure, so may go down or may go up faster than Easy.

Easyjet always seem to start off very cheap and then go up and up.
