Flying to Spain with my niece

We are taking my DN on holiday with us. She is 7 and she doesn't have the same surname as us.

Where can I find out which documentation I will need to take her in and out of Spain?

Will a letter from her parents be enough - surely it will need to be notarised (sp?) or something?

I take it she has a Passport ??? . .you will certainly need this!
Maybe also a letter of authorisation from her parents. . .ask at the C.A.B. they may know the answer.
Have a lovely holiday.!!

Yes she has a passport! I thought I would probably need some form of authorisation from her parents but am unsure of the form.

Will try CAB. Thanks!

I live in Spain, officially you need copy of birth certificate, copies of both parents passports and a letter singed by both of them in both languages!

I would check with the british embassey in spain to be sure. Everytime I have flown with dd who has dads surname has been asked for proof (birth certificate) that she is my daughter - in gatwick but not malaga.

hope that helps
