hi there
we are flying with easyjet and i want to use this back carrier this if wouldn't be charged rediculously for it as a luggage.
i think it's too big for carry on. with other airlines, i know a kid can have a stroller (not counted as checkin nor carry on), but i haven't used this back carrier before on a flight, any one?

hi, we've often travelled with a baby backpack. with British Airways they haven't questioned it, and we've been allowed it free in addition to the pushchair, but i wouldn't trust easyjet an inch. if i were you i'd ring their customer services people and ask what their policy would be. you might find yourself having to pay for it by weight (if they're in a particularly difficult mood) or as an extra item of luggage.

Can you fold it down flat and put in your hold bag/case or attach to a bag ? You used to be able to pout it through as oversized baggage and not be charged but times have changed in low cost airlines since.

thanks for your replies. i have searched easyjet's website and couldnt find a phone number to call!! they have the faq and an eamil address which i am not sure how long they will get back to me. to answer LIZ, no it doesn't really fold down..will talk to DH and most likely would give it a try and see how much they would charge us -- we would only have 2 pieces of checkin for 4 of us (given DD2 has an infant ticket), and 1 stroller. other option for us is to use the Bibi attachment for DD1 with the stroller but i am not sure how well it will travel. i was thinking to use my meitai but its not as comfortable as the back carrier..
