Can anyone recommend a self catering place in the Algarve with toys and cot etc for 2yr old?

We are looking to go on holiday for 2 weeks in September. I am currently looking at flying to Faro and would like self catering accomodation around there for me, DH and DS (2) plus grandparents (min 3 rooms). Baby friendly boltholes and tots to portugal places seem booked up already, and owners direct has lots of places but it is very difficult to see which ones are child friendly from the short descriptions. Anyone know anywhere? Pool (shared or private) and near to beach if poss.

I can recommend this: www.ownersdirect.co.uk/portugal/P7200.htm

There are toys, but they belong to the owners 2 DC - I am sure if you contacted her you may be able to use them.

It has its own garden, and there is a shared pool at the end of the driveway. Its very quiet, a lovely village. You do need a car tho, nearest beach is Gale and about 5-10 min drive away, but DEAD quiet and easy drive.

Oh we've stayed here:

Monte da Quinta - for 2 wks with an 11mth old and 4yo and had a lovely time.

All villas have their own garden, plunge pool and BBQ (which the Maid cleans for you!) and there's also a large heated indoor pool and a huge outdoor pool with fountains and water features. They also have a Kids Club which we used for our 4yo and she loved it, the staff also babysit so we got a chance to eat out a couple of times.

You need a car and the nearest beaches (there are plenty to chose from) are about 30mins away.

We booked direct with them, it was cheaper than using a UK agent.
