DC are 8 & 5, between 1.1 - 1.25 in height. They both love rollercoasters and fast rides. I wondered which park would be better for them? I hope it's not too much of a how long is a piece of string question! We went to Legoland yesterday and today and spent most of the time on The Dragon, Extreme Team Challenge and the rapids ride. Thanks.

Chessington . Thorpe Park is aimed more at teenagers these days.

Chessington, yes, definitely. They'll be able to do most stuff there, including the Vampire (legs dangling rollercoaster) and Tomb Blaster, Dragon Falls. Thorpe Parks does have some stuff they can do, but the most exciting stuff is 1.4m up, which might be a bit frustrating for them!

Chessington. Thorpe Park has redesigned itself for Teenagers.

I agree (although it's funny, because when I was young back in the Dark Ages it was very much the other way round. In those days Thorpe Park was aimed at a distinctly younger age than Chessington).

We were at Legoland on Monday, too -- first time in school holidays and it was scaaaary. I used to go with DS in term time and we could just go round on the Dragon or the Viking Rapids again and again and again and again and again without getting off.

I remember it being the other way round as well! But I've not been to either for over 15 years now so am very out of touch!
