Thinking of going for a session or two. Anyone been since it changed and have any advice - Is it busy at weekends, would we need to prebook. Is an hour enough and are the group lessons worth it(considering for dd age8) as a one off ? Do they offer discounts or supermarket vouchers. tia

You can buy from Costco a £50 voucher for around £42, but not sure if you can use other dicsounts/supermarket vouchers.

I have skiied there once (for the ladies session on a Wednesday morning) and DD (5) has had both group and individual lessons there.

It is a lovely facility - much nicer than the one at Milton Keynes as it is purely for skiing/boarding; not the other commercial stuff.

Cann DD ski already? DD started with the group lessons during the October half term which were fine, but in the end DH and I decided it was better to bite the bullet and pay for private sessions as value for money/skiing time that DD actually achieved in the private lesson was much better.

But def go - it is lovely - the viewing area from the bar/cafe makes it very civilised. It will be quieter now as well as the "season" is mostly over.

Aww thanks, the costco thing sounds worth looking into ! dh took ds last weekend and we have booked dd into a lesson this weekend . She can manage blues and easy reds but hasn't skiied for 2 years and wasn't yet really confident, so think a refresher would be good.
