...would there be any way I could get some kind of refund?

Much thanks if anyone can offer any advice!

Not that I know of. The airline will say that you should have booked one way (even though it is usually more expensive).

Nope, not unless you booked them as 2 separate flights (as you do with Easyjet, for example). If it was bought as a return, then there's nothing you can do, sorry.

CMOTdibbler · 18/03/2010 16:16

No - it doesn't work like that.

Shaz10 · 18/03/2010 16:19

In theory you could get the tax back as the airline only pays it if your bum is on that seat. In practice they make it incredibly difficult for you to do so!

Thanks for replies.

I booked with EasyJet 2 months ago - just wasn't expecting to be moving to destination so soon!

Would there be any way someone else could make use of my ticket?

Thanks again.

No, you can't transfer tickets without paying a fee which is usually more than the value

Wuxiapian · 19/03/2010 11:06

Hmmm.

That's a bit of a bugger.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Wux, easyJet do usually allow you to change a flight for a standard fee of £25 per change, so if you wanted to fly somewhere else on a different date you could do so or if you are planning a trip back here later in the year you can change the date of the flight. A change of name on your existing unwanted flight can also be effected for a fee of £25. HTH
