places to eat with 3 boys

We will be visiting London for 3 days in May with our DSs 12, 10, and 7. DSs 12 and 10 eat like adults, in both quantity and variety. DS 7 doesn't have the gastronomical capacity of his elder brothers yet, but he does eat a better variety than chicken fingers and pasta. We will be staying very near the Tower of London, and are happy with pub food. Any suggestions for places to eat are appreciated!

Also, for me - the lone female...I would love to have tea somewhere (and by tea, I mean Tea) with my family (who would enjoy it as well). Is the Orangery a good idea, since we'll be visiting Kensington Garden at some point? The boys can manage to be well behaved when they try, but they are boys after all... I'd like to go some place nice, but still boy-friendly.

Thanks!

Becky

McDonalds? Lol

There is a Fuller Pub near Tower Bridge and they do quite nice food.

Or if you are going to go more West End I have always found The Spaghetti House chain quite good for kids, and reasonably priced.

Giraffe chain is good - have kids menus and bogof if you registar on their website.
there's a Wagamama/Yo sushi nr there or is that too adventurous?
Frankie&Bennys has good kids menu and cheap by London standards
Orangery is a bit expensive really. I would recommend Browns for afternoon tea.

The Sofra chain is v good, and good value - they do a nice variety of Turkish food, and pasta dishes too. There is one in Covent Garden.

Wagamamma? very handy on the S Bank under the Royal Festival Hall - v reasonable, great noodle dishes.

Check out whether you can get any Pizza express vouchers online before you leave.

It's nice to try food from the hot food stalls in Borough market (Fridays and saturdays, or Spitalfields (Saturday), or half way down the Kings Rd (Saturday).

Giraffe, Wagamama, Pizza Express, Ask all good high street food options.
Masala Zone in Covent Garden is great too. Borough Market is brilliant - the chorizo burgers from the brindisa store are great.

Tea - you could try the Wolseley - it is expensive but they're pretty tolerant of kids. Other places often have a minimum age of 12 for kids attending afternoon tea so definitely worth checking when booking. Fortnum & Mason cafe does afternoon tea which you and your family might like - no need to book.

Check out myvouchercodes.co.uk before you go - loads of restaurants have voucher deals on there.

Massala Zone in Convent Garden is nice and has lots of cool puppets hanging from the ceiling. They do a lunch menu, which is pretty good value.

Covent Garden - there are no nuns, afaik.

belgos in covent garden is great - they have a beat the clock menu and express lunch menu - my dd wouldn't touch mussels though.

Thanks for the suggestions! I appreciate the notice on the minimum age for afternoon tea in some places.
