recommendations for places to eat near Birmingham Sea Life Center please...

DS turns 3 next month and as a birthday treat DH and I are thinking of taking him to Birmingham Sea Life Center.

We've been told that the restaurant inside isn't very good though...

Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere nearby which would be good for a family meal? It'll be me, DH, 3 year old DS and 3 month old DD - so it also has to be somewhere that I'll be welcome breastfeeding too if possible.

The sausage and mash eatery in Brindly place is fab. Just what you need at this time of year!

If you like tapas, then Bar Estillo in Mailbox is fantastic. Otherwise Cafe Rouge and Pizza Express in Brindleyplace are good.

The Slug & Lettuce in Brindleyplace is also surprisingly child friendly. We go there a lot - decent children's menu, nice baby changing, no problems feeding, activity pack for older dc's etc, friendly staff etc.

Thanks everyone. Making a note of all the baby friendly places and will choose when were there I think. Still can't get DD to take a bottle so I have to feed, would just rather not be asked to leave somewhere for doing it!
