PLEASE help me find a holiday. It has to be near to the beach and somewhere hot. Preferably with water slides.

corn, I didn't actually stay in that particular one, we went for the day to the water park

we stayed at Club Portinatx, can't link at the minute (grrrrr)

it is across the bay from the Greco (about 15 mins walk)

no water park, but its own private beach where watersports are free

look it up, its lovely

not 5 start luxury, of course, but perfectly adequate

we booked with alpharooms, but their site is down (or my pc is fecked, one or the other )

Oh yes- 10 minutes walk for a 2 yo- beautiful, amazing beach- stunningly clear water, safe swimming, warm sea, gorgeous clean golden sand.

They have appartments in the same complex too. Food was great- buffet so you can choose whatever you wish, lots of choices, and healthy options.

Pool is great, with plenty of loungers and shades. Beach isn't shady though- you can buy sunshades there though. It was v hot, we went in July.

there is some stuff for clubbers, but it is honestly confined to just one small part of the island (the west side, mainly)

Lykia World in Olu Deniz in Turkey was fantastic. They have the most amazing restaurants (all inclusive food)and Children's Paradise which is a waterpark with slides/ pools for all ages. There are 21 pools in total. We loved it!

Rocha Brava in Portugal near Carveiro- fab beaches, excellent waterpark about 15mins away at Lagoa. Has villas/apartments, very tasteful, 3 swimming pools, restaurants- but only 5 min drive from Carveiro.

Sorry to highjack thread but who did you book Lykia World through Tigerlion? And any tips for finding a good deal? I really want to go there!

Zakynthos is lovely, the beaches are great and there is a water park on the island, we stayed in Kalamaki which is a nice family resort.
