Eurodisney Advice please...which hotel to choose?

Hi,
We are planning to take our two DDs to eurodisney hopefully this year, if not next (OK, I plan ahead a lot!). They are/will be 3 and 5 yrs old.

I went years ago before I had kids and I think we stayed in Santa Fe?

Which are the 'budget' hotels and which are the pricey ones?

Any tips for which one to choose??

Also, any tips for good deals or websites?

Thanks

We went at the beginning of December last year for 4 days. We stayed in the Disney Hotel, which was fab, we would definitely stay there again.

We had a deal in which all of our meals were included, and as we were guests at the Disney Hotel this was a "premium" package, so could use all places.

We did pay for one lunch on our first day, in a fast food chicken place, and for a small, very mediocre lunch it was over 40 euros, so paying for food in advance actually worked out very well.

IIRC it was £1700 for 2 adults, and DD's 6 and 4 years.

We went on Eurostar from St Pancras.

HTH.

That does help thanks. Good tip about food in advance.

See, I love Disneyland Paris, my dd loves it too (5) we've been in loads of hotels, loads of times and I used to sell holidays there.

BUT I would never consider paying £1700 to go. It's not because we are hard up for cash either, It's just not worth the money, really it's not. We could have 2 weeks in a luxury hotel in Barbados for that! I have been round the Disneyland hotel on work trips and meetings and it's nothing special. The rooms are nice but just look at the £1700 the last poster paid (watering eyes emoticon).

We book Eurostar (usually 1st class leaisure select) as soon as it's released for about £50 me and £40 dd. Then we do 2nts 3 days or 3 nts 4 days and stay in either the 2 Cheyenne or 3 Newport. Cheyenne is little coach ride from park (it comes every 20 mins right outside the hotel). The rooms are cowboy themed, clean and nice and have cute bunkbeds that my dd loves. The Newport has bigger rooms and more space, it's nearer the parks and although you can still get the coach outside the hotel it's only a 5min walk to the park.

Last 2 trips we did were just dd (5) and 2 adults.

  1. 3nts 4 days passes at Newport Bay inc B&B and Eurostar = £595

2 2nts 3 days passes at Cheyenne inc b&b and Eurostar = £445.

We just waited for the free nights availability and booked up early!

Seriosuly, don't pay silly money, it's lovely and the kids have the best time but you'll spend loads and be sick of Disney by the end after having it rammed down your throat 24 hrs a day.
