The Japanese have an Anne theme park. I wanted to go, when I was over, as I used to love Anne ... didn't quite make it though.

It's tricky when your hols are so much longer than theirs. My DH is flying both ways with us, but going off to NYC on a work trip in the middle. Which is a nice setup, really, I won't have company for the 4-hour train journey from Montreal to Toronto, but I might convince someone to do it with me ...

I am still on maternity leave but am back to work 3 days after we are back in the UK
I lived in Japan for a few years - they are Anne mad and they instantly knew where I was from. (Pretended that Halifax was down the road from Avonlea of course!)

Hi SP - I'm flying alone to France in a couple of weeks with the 2 DS's (one is soon to be 10 months and the other is 4) - everyone thinks I'm mad (apart from a Cuban friend who reckons it'll all be fine!!!) I reckon DS1 will be ok but DS2 is likely to run riot! Most probably I will be mad by the time I arrive there...!

Thanks guys!

My dd is fairly charming (is always wandering off when we go and sit outside to talk to people) and most strangers seem to love her... hope it the same situation on the train and plane!

At least at the end of it all I will be in France having a (hopefully) lovely holiday!

Thats if I am not mad like costamum!

Also thanks SP, will be on the look out for unsuspecting children!
