I have £400 of Tesco voucher - these can be exchanged for about 96000 BA miles

I think....maybe - is that right?

Do I book the flights? then get the vouchers? what happens if there aren't any flights left after I have converted the vouchers to miles?

Basically can I fly to Jamaica with them?

Maybe I should grit my teeth & do the fights but it's only for a week

If I could get flights I can get accommodation easily (DH is going home - so to speak so we have contacts)

You could sell your vouchers on ebay for about £600 if that would help?

Maybe I should use them to pay for next years holiday? I can buy the tickets in January

Tbh Katymac I think that Jamaica at Christmas on a budget with no flexibility on dates isn't really something that you can do 3 months out. If you planned for Jamaica next Christmas, you could get cheaper flights (and poss even get to use the airmiles, though when I'm booking 11 months out I tend to find that the BA miles aren't that much of a bargain as the seats are cheaper anyway!).

BA are doing flight to Montego Bay for £2,500 for 2 ad and 1 ch on your dates, but that does eat up most of your budget. US Airways fly indirect for £2,070. I guess your best price could be £400-£500 each if you can book far enough in advance?

really - I may book early then for next year

Thanks for that

Hi Katymac...pretty much the only thing I know about the airmiles thingy at Tesco is that there is definitely a difference between standard Airmiles and BA Airmiles so maybe phone Tesco Clubcard and they could tell you what to do (I really don't think you should miss out on a potentially brilliant deal just because the information is a bit cack!).

I rang BA & there are no flights avaiable

Can anyone help me here I'm trying to find a nice hotel in the canaries (with sailing....hopefully)
