will my kids need a passport

hi will my dc 5 & 6 need a passport to fly domestic

No, you only need passports to cross borders into a foreign county. They will probably require id though and a passport is often the best form.

i though this would be the case

we got citizen cards instead s only needed photo id - they are £6

oh will look into that, where would i get a form from?

you can order forms via internet i think though they have some in our corner shop as use for id for alchol etc..

We flew England to Scotland (with Easy Jet) and the dc's did not need any id - best to check with the airline

If they are flying with adults, they don't need their own photographic ID, they only need their own if they are flying unaccompanied.

flappy we flying to jersey with flybee and was told photo id - maybe diff for channel islond i dunno? were you on one of those tiddly turbo prop planes flappy?

I needed photo ID, used my work id card which was fine.

Luckily I flew on an Embraer, little bit more substantial!

Dh has flown on the turbo props a lot as was doing a weekly commute from home to the south of england, he said the only differences with them are, they are not as fast and smaller.

I don't like flying either, but traveling on my own with 2 young dd's soon took my mind off my fear.

is that all - there not bumpy and up and down like a roler coaster?

he never said anything about turbulence, how long is your flight?

1 hr 30 with a nervous dh also and a 2.5 yr old lively ds and a 6 yr old who both have never flown - scared of everything dd who i think we will end up clubbing to get her on! We have made it sound all exciting and despite this she is already saying she doesnt like em! dh has been watching how best to survive a crash programmes!! You wouldnt think me and dh used to think nothing of going long haul!
