Hi, I've booked my young family in for a week at the Petits Camarguais Yeoh Village campsite. It'll be my first camping (staying in a caravan) holiday, with DC aged 1.5 and 3.5 Has anyone any recommendations on the area or campsite, or good places to eat which tolerate children? I'm a bit of a foodie, which has suffered since the DC..
Any tips or ideas or warnings would be appreciated!! Ta

There is a lovely town called Aigues Mortes nearby. There are various restaurants in the central square. All the ones we tried were child friendly.

The market at Uzes (near Pont du Gard) On Wedesday the Saturday markets had fabulous produce - like a market out of central casting! We loved it but the choldren preferred the Haribo museum on the outskirts of the town

Great, thanks for the tips. I'd heard of the Haribo museum, I guess I am hoping they are too young for that, though I doubt they would aggree. They love their jellies.. I'll have to look out for the markets so, stock up on some nice cheeses and olives. mmmm

The Grau de Roi is really nice. The beach is fab! There is a huge number of restaurants so it will be easy to find somewhere that suits. Agree Aigue Mortes is nice. Montpellier and Nimes are definitely worth a vist too if you have time.

We did a canal boat trip a few years ago through the Carmague and along the coast.
