A friend of mine has invited us to join them to celebrate their little ones first birthday at lego land.... it is their DS first birthday, my DD is also almost 1 (planning on morning at odds farm on her birthday!) - is she crazy? or is there actually things for them to do there? also very £££ but can get annual passes for DH and I through tesco cheaply if we will use them - DH fancies the fireworks and always says would be nice to go but very £££ for just them.... we live nearby so would go back if suitable!

I haven't actually been myself, but my dp has been with his dd and it is apparently good...however she was 3 at the time. I've been looking to take my ds who is 10 months but have been told not a lot to do with them until over 2.

she says are train rides and a boat, also a soft play bit? and duplo to play with? i know my dd would like these and be enough to keep her entertained in theory - BUT is the annual pass worth it for between 1 and 2 years old??

you only need to visit twice to make the annual pass "worth it".

I agree that the duplo area will be great for your littlies. Spend time looking at the lego-village. We've always left this until last and had to rush through before the gates close.

Took my 2.2 year old DD recently with her 3.6 year old cousin. The 3 year old was just getting into doing stuff. My DD was bemused by most of it, refused to go near anything except the little scenic train, and spent most of her time in the Duplo world playground - which has mostly the same kind of stuff you'd find in any playground. I think they really need to be 4+ to get much out of it - and it's an expensive day out for adults just to sit around a playground
