Hi,

DH, DD1 (4) DD2 (3) and me plus grandparents off in a week or two for 3 nights. Never been before and a few questions if you don't mind??!!

We only get breakfast in our package, where is good to eat out in the evenings? Do I book when I get there and where do I do it?

Don't really want to take our push chair but my little one may struggle in the heat, can we hire buggies and how much?

What are the must see things for pre schoolers?

Any other tips?

Thankyou so much xLR

take your pushchair - you will need it!! You can hire them but they don't look very comfy and you may appreciate your DD getting the chance to lie back and have a nap! We're going in 2 weeks too ! We loved cafe mickey as the children get to interact very closely with all the characters!! You will need to book tho but as your Dcs are young, book on the way out of the park when you know they'll be OK with the characters! We booked directly at the restuarant but you can phone, your hotel can book or you can book at guest services. Foodwise I've been twice and the quality had changed by the 2nd time we went. basically it's expensive and not all that healthy! Smugle out rolls, ham, cheese etc from breakfast (like everone else!) and use that for lunch! Then ahve a proper meal in the evening. You can download parade times etc nearer the time form teh DLP web site so you can plan what to do for meals etc.
A good tip for on arrival is to go for the little train ride which takes you round the park and helps you get your bearings!

Enjoy....

Pushchair will definitely be needed. The food is pretty dire inside the park, but the Disney village bit has better options - cafe mickey is good. Take lots of fruit and healthy snacks with you as those are hard to find!

Must see things - Peter Pan's Flight, Small World, the Buzz Lightyear ride all bound to be popular. Also the cars stunt show in the Disney Studios park is really good and everyone can have a bit of a rest there.

Defo take pushchair. You can hire them from front gates of the park but expensive and looked rubbish and heavy!

The park is split into 'lands' and the best one for pre-schoolers is probably the fantasyland, though the leaflet that you pick up as you go through the gate will guide you on age suitability of the rides.

Ditto lesaki - eat big breakfast, smuggle in rolls and eat 'earlyish' dinner at say 6pm unless you have booked. The best range of food is at Disney Village opposite the park,
Cafe Mickey is good but worth booking through your hotel. There is a Rainforest Cafe ( burgers/mexician), planet hollywood and other themed restaurant. We were spending about £20 a head for drink and main at these. Anettes diner is slightly cheaper but again burgers served on rollerskates!
Take your vitamin pills!

You can prebook cafe Mickey (worth it) - or any other Disney restaurant on 00 33 1 60 30 40 50 - I just have for the 25th of May!!! YAY!!!! Cafe Mickey is a bit more expensive but def worth it if your DC like characters! (not if they are scared of them!) King Ludwigs is good IIRC if you like steak! 2 weeks tomorrow and we'll be there! can't wait!
