Has anyone been there at all?

I want to go with my 2.5 year old, is there much to do for her or is it all for older children?

Any experiences would be great.

Thank you

Sorry, have no idea, but DH could sing its radio advertising jingle from the 80s.

hope this will bump it for someone who has been there!

Will watch with interest as we're thinking of taking our scouts there. However I'll be interested on the other angle as to wether it'll be too young for them (the age range is 10-14)

It's great. I went with my DD when she was about the same age and there was loads to do. Also lots for older children.

Fantastic day out.

been - loved it.

Definitely not for the average 10-14 year old! Great for younger children but the older ones would find it all rather tame, I suspect.

Kbear · 03/05/2009 21:05

yes, mine were 3 and 5 at the time.

Dumbledoresgirl · 03/05/2009 21:08

Mine have been several times. They went when they were little (I remember ds2 being too scared to walk through the dinosaur park!) and more recently aged 12, 10, 8 and 5. There is plenty to do for every age and certainly on the last visit, my 10 and 8 year old enjoyed it the most (12 yo was not pleased to not be able to drive electric car on race track by himself and sulked for the rest of the day but hey ho!)

We went last Saturday and thought it was brilliant! Loads to do for dd who was just over 900mm which is the minumum height for many of the rides.

The place was clean, well organised and everyone had a fantastic day

Would recommend it to anyone!

i went a couple of years ago, my ds (then 12) wasn't happy about not being able to drive the go-kart alone and i had to drive with him wedged next to me .

was nice day out though

GracieGrace · 05/05/2009 12:34

It is so utterly nice.
And perfect for primary aged kids.

PestoBloomingColdMonster · 05/05/2009 12:39

It's fabbo.

Have a great time

Dumbledoresgirl · 05/05/2009 16:44

SEA my son was the same! I even told him to lie about his age and would have backed him up in the lie as he is taller than many 13 year olds and could handle the car better than most, but he is too upright to lie about his age. That would be fine if he hadn't then refused to get in the car with anyone, not me, dh, my father, my brother (his adored uncle) no-one. He sulked for the rest of the day (he had remembered the cars from before and been so looking forward to driving one) and was a general pita.

But oh well, everyone else had a great time!

Great for younger kids - we go every year when we are in the New Forest. There is only one bigish ride and my (very short) 8 year old can get on it - but not my (equally small) 5 year old.
