How do I manage time zone changes with a 5 month old?

Hi,

I have a wonderful 16week old boy called Finn.
Our routine is as follows:
7am up feed between 6 and 7oz
9am to 10am sleep
10.45am feed 7oz
11.30am start getting ready for sleep, offer top up but rarely takes.
2.00pm up (sleep is usually ok but can be wakeful in middle bit - settles himself eventually)
2.30pm feed between 5 and 7oz
4.00-5.00pm sleep - only 30mins around this time, usually in car as have picked up 5yr old daughter.
5.45pm bath
6.15pm feed 8oz
6.45pm in bed
10.30pm offer 6oz but rarely takes more than 4.5oz

So all is really good.
BUT.... we are off to Canada in 4 weeks - so he will be 20 weeks. he is a big boy currently 16lbs 4oz (born on and tracking just above the 75th%ile) so not sure when he will need weaning but planning not to do it until we come home (praying this will work!)
We are going for 9days.

The help I need is this.... we fly at about 6pm UK time. So perfect really as he will be tired & I have heard babies sleep well on planes.
But..... we land at approx 6pm Canadian time!!!! What do I do????
Do I wake him on the plane and try to feed him up there, because he is likely to fall back asleep more easily? Or do I let him wake up naturally in canada and feed him in the night quietly & pray he goes back to sleep??

I have no idea! I don't want this to ruin our holiday - we are going to see my brother, his wife & their 1yr old. but I don't want our holiday to ruin my son's routine - he is so good! (our daughter was not good!!!)

Any thoughts, advice - anything! would be greatly appreciated.
Claire xxx

I'm the wrong person to give advice as I have never been one for routines ... honestly, I would just go with the flow. You're on holiday, you should have more adults around than normally ... how about feed him when he's hungry and let him sleep when he's tired? What's the worst that can happen?
