Shorthaul internal flight in UK on Easyjet any advice please

Just booked a trip on Easyjet which consists of a UK flight of 1hr 30mins. DS has just turned 2 years old and it will be his first flight.

Any warnings/advice on problems I might encounter, how to keep him occupied etc, etc.

(Do children react badly to the noise of take off, ears popping etc?)

Thanks

You need a passport to travel even internally these days or at least adults do. Might be worth checking out.

Books and more books. Small little things like cars etc. But nothing too special as he may end up loosing it.

Snacks too.

for take off and landing get him to have a drink/dummy bottle/lolly to stop ears popping.
be aware that if he is 2 he must sit on his own seat during take off and landing, we find with dd it best to put her in the seat straight away, if i sit down with her on my lap then try to put her in the seat all hell breaks loose!
get a few cbeebies type magazines, they dont take up much room in your bag, usually have a toy and stickers to keep little one occupied and as your ds wont have seen them before they should keep him happy for that lenght of time.

oh and take plenty of drinks/snacks easyjet charge about a million£ for a kitkat!

Thanks for your advice.

Galava - I assume that DS would need a passport so I got him one a couple of months ago.

Nancy75 - I'll give him a drink at takeoff/landing and I'll look out for some cbeebies type magazines as he'll definitely recognise the characters
